Trochus Niloticus aka the Banded Trochus snail is our top choice for clean up crew! Not only can it get itself upright when knocked over (minimizing its chances of being attacked),  but also feeds on algae, diatoms, and even species of Cyanobacteria! This species can also live up to 15 years and can breed in captivity well! One of our favorite things is watching the trochus shaking his shell rapidly to remove anything crawling on his back. This batch is very small but have been bred locally and are very hardy!
